NANOYOU is a great way for schools and educators to receive first hand information on nanotechnologies, directly from first-class European nanoscience research centres, and to discover the opportunities nanotechnologies offer. Moreover, particular focus is given to ethical, safety and societal implications, as well as present and future limits in scientific development.
NANOYOU offers participating schools and educators a range of creative and interesting activities and materials, including videos, online animations, games, workshops, virtual dialogues, and virtual experiments based on existing research.
NANOYOU’s educational team have also devised suggested one-day programmes and lesson modules. All the documentation will be accessible online and may be downloaded free of charge. Teachers can also access user guidelines for each NT tool and training kit. Furthermore, all registered schools that require assistance for the organisation of their activities can count on online and telephone support.
