Students from the Italian school ISISS Piana di Lucca - Liceo Scientifico E. Majorana (Capannori) took part in the 2nd European Innovation Summit, which was held from 11 to 14 October at the European Parliament in Brussels.

The students gave a presentation about the NANOYOU project in a session entitled “Europe’s Future Nobel Prize Winners”, which aimed to increase students’ interest in science and technology careers. You will soon be able to read an article on their experience which they are preparing.

About 200 secondary school students aged 14 years and over from all EU Member States attended the event and many more followed it online via EuroparlTV

The 2nd European Innovation Summit was organised by Knowledge4Innovation, an open, independent platform enabling multiple stakeholders of the knowledge and innovation economy to meet and exchange their experiences, with the common objective of improving Europe’s innovation performance.
