The NANOYOU film has been accepted for The Science Film Festival. Nanoscience Centre submitted the NANOYOU film to the sixth edition of this festival initiated in 2005 by the Goethe-Institute.  In this occasion the festival will take place in Cambodia, Indonesia, the Philippines and Thailand during the last two weeks of November.

This year the Science Film Festival received over 170 films from 24 countries, of which 47 films from 17 countries are in the official competition. A broad selection of them can be enjoyed in four nations across ASEAN for the first time!

The Science Film Festival presents films which communicate technological and scientific issues accessibly and entertainingly to a wide audience. Through this approach, the festival encourages a culture of science films that combines education and entertainment, demonstrating that science communication and learning can be fun.

The Science Film Festival 2010 is organized by the Goethe-Institut and the French Embassy in each country, as well as UNESCO.
