24 pilot schools have been selected as the first to launch NANOYOU into the classroom. These schools are based in Austria, Belgium, Cyprus, Denmark, Germany, Greece, Italy, Latvia, Lithuania, Portugal, Romania, UK, Slovakia and Spain. A list of the participating pilot schools can be found hereunder.

At the end of January, teachers from the selected schools will take part in a training workshop in Brussels, organised by ORT and EUN with the collaboration of iNANO. The training aims to introduce and explain the different NANOYOU experiments and activities that teachers can use in their classrooms.

The pilot schools will have a coordination and management tool at their disposal (https://europeanschoolnet.basecamphq.com/login) in order to communicate with each other, share useful documents and files, leave messages, ask questions and be in contact with the project administrators.

Pilot schools will be the first group to try out activities in class. Thereafter, they will be invited to post their results and impressions on the website. By sharing their experiences with other teachers, they will offer support for other schools interested kasyna in taking part in NANOYOU.

Non pilot schools interested in NANOYOU will be able to use the implemented NANOYOU materials in their class at a later stage. They will then benefit from advice, help and support from pilot schools that ran the activities beforehand.
