On the 5-6 December 2009 six teams of youngsters took part in the NANOYOU video contest and spent a weekend working on the production of short videos on `Living a 2.0 city´. Now you can watch the finalist videos and enjoy the results of that creative weekend!

Participants worked day and night to transform their innovative storyboards into 3 minute videos on ‘Living a 2.0 city’. The youngsters were challenged to participate with interactive experiments, providing real-life experience with sensors and chips: `What does it feel like to be tracked in real time?´ `What does it feel like to interact with a computer, using a motion pod instead of a mouse?´

The group was very diverse, with participants coming from different backgrounds such as design, engineering, art history, communication or video technique, and a multidisciplinary jury with engineers, a social scientist specializing in story boarding techniques, an architect, a science educator, a decorative arts teacher and an interaction designer.

At the end of the weekend four videos were nominated and their creators were invited to present their videos at the NANOYOU public debate which took place at the Cité des sciences et de l’industrie in Paris, on April 8, 2010.  "Nadim et Suzanne" by Sophie Bessette, Louise Dubois and Aurélie Ponsin was voted by the audience as the winner of the contest.
