In general, we all love it. It was very hard for all but we did it. And with same success: in a scale of 1 to 5, students, teachers, attendees and investigators evaluate 4,6 in average. The highest critic was that they didn't have time to see all the experimental activities in the NanoDay. The other critic his that the project must go on: no need for more money, only to create a knowledge base with what we all pilot schools already know.
Less positive points
The on line games were not useful for us;
We had a age problem: our students as 13 to 15 years old. Which means that we have to adapt a lot of the materials: it occurs during the first year;
Short time training in Brussels;
We didn't do collaborative work with other schools primarily because with didn't know nothing about it: each one work by themselves: I don't know why, but it happen with us: perhaps a more collaborative platform, similar to facebook? Don't know.

Time project: only two years!? Now we are ready to start, with the knowledge we have gather so far.
We didn't have time to blog, only now its possible to do it, and we were learning how to do this project: now we have things to say and discuss with other schools. An we participate in a few meetings: time time time!!!

The week of Nanotechnology took place from the 11th to the 15th of April at our school, St. Paul’s in Barcelona. During this time, the students of 1st of Bachillerato (16-17 years old) as a part of our Modern World Science course, we organized various activities for students of 3rd and 4th of ESO (13-15 years old).

Their ideas about need for light from different teoretic positions: as a “Scientist”, as a "Consumer", and write their answers and ideas about The Dilemma in their work individual student sheet. They discuss their oppinions with classmates, engage in discussions on NanoTech Applications (needs and solutions) and share opinions.

We have 8 correct answers at first page Science Questions so we can proceed the next page with moments from Communication Discoveries. My students from equipe nano improve the other students knowledge about the evolution of basic concepts.

Our students after studing Nanoyou resources, news, experiments, applications in medicine, electronics devices, computers, researches in materials science try to make all they learn in presentations for other classes, studies to discuss at science lessons with examples and applied ideas. All these they gather and open our “Nano web blog Pages
My students will post what they will study about Nanomaterials Electronics, Bio-nano generators, their great interest in learning nanoelectronic devices that could detect the concentrations of biomolecules in real time for use as medical diagnostics, about nanosensors. About new researches in Electronics which need to be rigorously tested and modified to be "space hardened" or resistant to the outer space environment (vacuum, microgravity, thermal extremes, and radiation exposure) and about microsats and Tiny satellites.
My students make a documentation and present to other students in school their studies about NANO WIRES FOR BETTER CONDUCTIONS. They discuss what means that for nanosatellits and for future discoveries. The existence of a set of standard components to meet the specific basic functions nanosatelites would significantly reduce both costs and time to design and assemble a space mission. By customizing each application nanosatelites the specifics can be started and completed in minimum time specialist tasks in areas such as Environment, agriculture, security, communications, science.

As TED Afyon College we are invited an exhibition to introduce the European Union Project which is applied in our school. My collegues Cansel OZERMEN and Rasim AYDOGUS introduce their Eco-Schools and eTwinning projects and I introduced the Nanoyou project to teachers and visitors. I used the nanoschollbox and nanoyou website to introduce the project. I showed the videos and presentations by using nanoyou webpage and teachers blog. I also used the nano fabric which is given in Brussels meeting.

Our school has been working on how to reform the methodology of teaching physics as a subject with the help of 6 different international schools from Italy, Greece, Turkey, Latvia, Portugal, and Czech Republic. All of the school has been taken part in the project under the name of “Comenius Multilateral Partnerships between Schools”
